The rain falls over you, drenching you to your core. You’re running, but you don’t know why, or what from. But you do know that you can’t let it get you. Your breath is ragged and your throat is burning. You can hear the footsteps of whatever is behind you, and they’re getting closer. The road is empty and the night is as dark as dark gets.
And out of nowhere-
A car slams into you, and everything goes black.
“Shit!” Dean floors the break and slams his hands against the steering wheel.
Sam stops for a second before turning to Dean. “DEAN. WHAT THE HELL.”
“I dunno, Sam, someone just ran in front of my car! Now how about instead of sitting in here and fighting about it, we CHECK ON THEM.”
Both brothers immediately slammed open their doors and ran around to the front of the car. The sight that met their eyes shocked them to their core.
A girl lies unharmed, unconscious, half beneath the impala. Not a single scratch marked her. Not a single drop of blood.
Sam’s the first to speak. “…what?”
“well…. It’s not a ghost.”
Sam looks at dean with his eternal bitch face. “Nawwwww, I had no idea. Thanks Dean.”
Dean grins at his brother smugly. “Not a problem, sweetie.”
Sam rolls his eyes before leaning down to check the girl’s pulse, Dean watching closely. Looking up he shakes his head sadly and stands.
“Shit…” Dean mutters, running his hand through his hair. “She was a babe too.”
He shrugs with a halfhearted grin. “So what do we do?”
“Report a body, I guess.”
Dean goes for his phone when he hears wheezing. Suddenly the girl shoots upward, grasping her chest and actively vomiting
blood. Quickly both brothers kneel at her side, holding her steady until she finally sits back and groans.
“What the hell happened?”
“We were about to ask the same thing…” Sam says, giving you an incredulous look. You mutter something neither boy caught before fluttering your eyes shut and falling backward again. Sam checked her pulse again, and muttered, “Still nothing.”
Dean stays still and says nothing for a good minute. “Well she’s not human, that much is obvious. Look at how much blood she puked up. That shit’s not possible.”
Sam nods slowly. “Let’s just take her back to the room.”
